Early Einsteins is an educational literacy program created for children from preschool through second grade. Based on the most current research, this program not only gives children a jumpstart on reading, but also extra support and confidence in many areas of literacy. Our goal is to foster a love of reading by making it a meaningful experience, building language and learning skills for life, with an active hands-on curriculum.
A good foundation in reading sets the
stage for success in future years of education.
While many literacy programs focus on schoolage
children, researchers agree that children
are more likely to become good readers if they
start school having been exposed to a wide
variety of literary experiences and have
knowledge of books and stories.
At Early Einsteins, children are given a quick pre-assessment during the
first few classes they attend. They are asked to identify upper and
lowercase letters as well as lowercase letter sounds.
Additional
assessments are given at the end of each session to see all the progress
made. These assessments are sent home for the parents to review. Children work in a small group setting (5-6 students) with a
credentialed and experienced teacher who has the ability to differentiate instruction to suit the needs of all students in each cohort.

Early Einsteins incorporates the Houghton Mifflin Language Arts Program:
the California standards-based program adopted by the NMUSD. With that,
Early Einsteins students have an advantage by being familiar with the
program as they learn the Alphafriends and other terminology needed in
Kindergarten and first grade.
We stress success here at Early Einsteins and want to be sure that the
children are provided with the most appropriate instruction, leaving not
time or money wasted.
*Individual instruction is available upon request*
Some kids qualify for pre/post assessment during each session.
